I am a Photographer, Trustee and Photojournalism Trainer at Flame Tree Media Trust of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. I worked with Business Times Ltd, a renowed media house in Tanzania, from 1994 to 2001 as photographer and later Chief Photographer.
Between 2001 and 2003 I lived and worked in Scandinavian Countries as photographer with Sorvis Kommunikasjon AS where I was involved in the production of media content for publishing both in prints and the web, in Norway, and also worked with Dagens Nyheter, the biggest Newspaper in Sweden.
Since my return to Tanzania in 2003, I work on personal Photo Projects and assignments in the country. Those include The Life of Young Miners in Mererani and The MDG Book Project for the UN Millennium Development Goals Book, ‘New Stories’ published by World Press Photo Foundation in April 2008. He has exhibited his work in Norway. He contributed in the 2005 East Africa Art Biennale Book and has exhibited three times in Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania. In 2008 he photographed for a Book about coffee in Tanzania.
